Do you have another job? What is it if so? Yes I work at St. Mary Preschool as a teacher’s assistant
How did you come up with your business name? My daughter’s name is Scarlett and the ME stands for Maryellen.
What got you started doing this? Encouragement from a friend and a desire for baseball hats that I wanted to wear that weren’t plain and super blingy. I wanted something that was my style. It has evolved over time by adding more products and getting better equipment.
What is your creative process like? It’s a hot mess. I’m a bit indecisive and I like to have a variety of items because not everyone is going to like the same thing. I do have my items priced at what I would be willing to pay for them if I was purchasing them myself.
I love creating/making items. It’s like therapy for me.
